LOU E. PELTON, Ph.D.
An
award-winning marketing author and scholar at the University
of North Texas, Dr. Pelton's principal research interests
include marketing channels, relationship marketing and international
distribution.
Dr. Pelton is Senior Author of the textbook titled Marketing
Channels: A Relationship Management Approach (Irwin/McGraw
Hill/1e, 2e) and Marketing Channels: Managing Supply Chain
Relationships (Irwin/McGraw Hill/1e). His latest collaborative
book is titled Rights, Relationships & Responsibilities:
Business Ethics and Social Impact Management. Pelton
has a forthcoming book addressing resource advantage and information
utilization.
He has published more than 90 research articles in prominent
journals and inter/national conference proceedings. His contributions
appear in Advances in Marketing, Business Horizons, Industrial
Marketing Management, Journal of the Academy of Marketing
Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business and
Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal
of Healthcare Marketing, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal

Dr. Pelton has delivered educational programs and keynote
addresses for governments, firms and tertiary institutions
in Asia, Europe, South America and the U.S. Dr. Pelton has
also served in a multitude of leadership roles in the Federation
of Business Disciplines, Academy of Marketing Science, American
Marketing Association and the World Marketing Congress.

DEE KNIGHT, Ph.D.
Dr.
Dee K. Knight spent over 20 years in the retail industry before
returning to the classroom to earn her Ph.D. and ultimately
joining the merchandising faculty at the University of North
Texas.
Dr. Knight teaches retail related courses including merchandising,
promotions, entrepreneurship, and internship. Her research
area is retail related and includes service quality issues,
antecedents and consequences of contact employees’ job
performance, and cross national consumer shopping behaviors.
She has published five research articles and 28 abstracts
in refereed publications. Dr. Knight along with the other
UNT Merchandising faculty received the American Textile Manufacturers
Institute’s (ATMI) 2000 Award for Excellence for innovative
programming. Dr. Knight also is a member of Phi Kappa Phi
Honor Society.

J. LYNN JOHNSON, Ph.D.
Dr. Johnson's teaching field includes graduate and undergraduate courses in Organizational Behavior and Management Concepts. He has received departmental and university teaching awards while providing instruction for a variety of courses.
Dr. Johnson is the author of Management, published by Dame Publishers of Houston, Texas and Building A Professional Life, published by Delmar Publishers of New York, NY. These books are supported by a research record consisting of articles in both academic and practitioner journals. Research questions involving environmental scanning, work teams, and occupationally injured employee have appeared in such journals as Business Communication, Small Business Management, Regional Business Review, The Journal of Business Ethics, and Business Horizons.
Dr. Johnson's consulting and practitioner experience involve metroplex and national organizations such as Dallas-Fort Worth Airport Board, General Electric Credit Corp. KVIL-Radio, Texas Utilities, Sally Beauty Supply, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Mrs Baird Inc. These consulting assignments involve activities from training supervisors to redesigning organizational structure and rewards.
